Transferprojects

ASSET
ASSET is a trans-national co-operation project funded by the Sokrates Grundtvig Programme of the European Union. It aims to enhance the effectiveness of European Adult Education teachers across a wide range of curriculum areas by providing a self-help tool-kit for studying on one's own.

AWISE
AWISE is a trans-national cooperation project founded by the ESF Art. 6.
The aim of the project is to sensitize, counsel and qualify small and medium sized enterprises about the effects and chances of the demographical change.

BILVOC
BILVOC integrate the mediation of profession specific foreign language skills into vocational education.
Bi-lingual professional education will help apprentices to learn a foreign language and at the same time to learn within this language. A lack of foreign language skills can be overcome and the growing need of profession-specific foreign language knowledge will be met. Altogether communication and mobility in general as well as profession-specific will be improved.

CEMES / ESO-CSA
Grounded on ECVET the Leonardo da Vinci Project ESO-CSA develops a certification-system for the recognition of competencies gained within small and medium sized enterprises all over Europe.
Coming from the pilot-project CEMES this system allows the identification, assessment and recognition of professional competencies, which are acknowledged by a joint European method.
It is the aim of the project to make educational attainments comparable.

European Crafts Assistant
The European Crafts Assistant is an additional qualification which is taught within two years at vocational schools as part of a regular apprenticeship.
This qualification supplements the dual vocational education and training and covers theoretical qualification at school and a compulsory job placement in a foreign European country.
Next to classical crafts related skills this special qualification improves language skills, knowledge about European goods and commercial law, knowledge about European countries and gives an insight into other cultures and working techniques.

Europass Mobility
The europass opens doors to learning and working in Europe. With its various components, the europass offers a fitting tool for documenting and presenting worthwhile experiences at home and abroad. It conveys a comprehensive picture of the holder's qualifications and skills, enabling easier comparison between European countries.
The europass especially addresses apprentices who spent part of their training abroad and presents personal abilities, skills and qualifications in a form that is clear and easy to understand.

LdV-Mobility Project GVA
The building up of structures which will sustainably support the exchange of apprentices and the acquisition of intercultural competences as part of the apprenticeship will optimise the employability of young people.
Persons responsible for education at schools, inter-company training centres and companies from the mechanical engineering and wood processing sectors from the chamber district, informed themselves about the possibilities of implementing a long term stay abroad for apprentices by visiting each VET institution in the Netherlands (ROC Midden; Utrecht), Norway (BVS Alesund) and Finland (Turku Vocational Institute, Turku) for a week.
The project was founded by the European Commission within the program Leonardo da Vinci.

Apprentices start up online
The campaign organised by ZWH e. V. is supported by Microsoft and offers apprentices all over Germany Internet based qualifications in Word and Excel.
Apprentices can gain a basic qualification within these programs. After passing an exam they receive an official MS-Office certificate.

Let’ go
It is the objective of the project Let’s go, founded by the EU and the Federal Land NRW, to develop and foster the culture of mobility within the North-Rhine-Westphalian crafts sector. This is done by information, consultation and coaching of apprentices, entrepreneurs and multipliers. Further, Let’s go provides organisational and financial support to apprentices, who wish to undertake practical training in a company abroad, The Leonardo da Vinci program offers financial resources for apprentices from the crafts sector, who would like to go abroad, either on their own or as a member of a group.
A further aim of Let’s go is the implementation of an additional qualification called “European Assistant in the Crafts” in VET schools.
Let’s go promises apprentices social competencies, independent work, knowledge of foreign languages and the possibility to open their minds.

Mobilint
The Leonardo da Vinci Pilot Project Mobilint (International Mobility) developed a consultation concept to foster cross-border mobility in the crafts sector.
The core of the project is to analyse, assess and optimise consultation structures in the partner countries as well as the development of qualification concepts regarding the topic “staying and learning abroad”. Based on existing consultation concepts this qualification mediates an additional qualification for consultants regarding international mobility in the crafts sector.

Prepare
The aim of the Leonardo da Vinci Project Prepare is to prepare people who would like to do a practical training or work abroad for the stay abroad offering special language training.
The developed learning program, which is available in five languages, can be used via computer from home. The program covers general linguistic competencies as well as basic skills in different languages.

REIM
The aim of the project REIM is quality assurance in the field of mobility and especially to support small and medium sized enterprises, training centres etc. with the organisation and implementation of practical training abroad. The networking of all organisations involved in mobility will be realised via Internet platform EUONAVER.NET, which will be launched in 2008.

VQTS
The Leonardo da Vinci Project VQTS elaborates a systematic approach regarding cross-European recognition of professional qualifications and competencies.
