The LaWA Project is a Leonardo da Vinci Innovation Transfer Project and therefore it will build upon, implement and develop further results and products of other projects and initiatives. Below we provide an overview of projects which results and products are of particular relevance. Also Internet based results and products of the LaWA project are presented.
Moreover we are very interested in the exchange of experiences with other projects and initiatives regarding joint cross-boarder vocational education and training.
Transferprojects
The projects and initiatives listed below are involved in developing, improving and deeply implementing professional mobility. The results and products of these projects are the working base of the LaWA project and have some influence on the LaWA project and will be further developed. Moreover, an exchange of experiences takes place between protagonists or consortiums, not least because some LaWA project partners were involved in these projects.
Content-Pool
The Content Pool is part of the materials and quality concepts provided to teachers, apprentices and companies to prepare and support a long-term stay abroad. Freely available links are supplemented by Computer res. Web Based Trainings, which can be used either free of charge or with costs within a learning management system (e. g. DistanceLearningSystem DLS®).
Further more, the adaptation resp. production of e-learning-material is possible using different tools, e. g.:
An overview of different software solutions supplements the Content-Pool.
Logbook
The apprentice documents long-term stays abroad as part of the apprenticeship training in the Logbook. From a personal point of view, he/she describes professional, language, intercultural and personal competencies resp. skills gained abroad. Hence, additional learning outcomes – in relation to the standard training – will be visual. This is of interest for the training company as well as for potential future employees. The hosting company and the sending company have access to the Logbook and the possibility to follow the stay abroad and to comment on it from their point of view.
